Nice and Simple

I haven't had a lot of time to create this week. It has been one of those weeks, the next two cards I have to show tonight took about 15 minutes each to make. Its surprising what you in whip up in a short time.

Supplies:

stamp set: think happy thoughts, canvas background, eat cake, card/ink: bashful blue, certainly celery, regal rose, accessories: mat pack, 1 1/4" circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, scallop punch.

Supplies:

stamp set: birthday best, garden whimsey, card/ink: regal rose, rose red, whisper white, accessories: brads

Well I better get off and tidy up my craft room. It never seems to stay tidy for long. The girls are coming around after our meeting so I want it to look presentable. I will take a photo and post as well as some swap photos in the next day or so. Have a good weekend. thanks for visiting.

Another Friday

Happy Friday. Gosh it has been a week since I last posted. This week has flown by. I am glad it's Friday. Our team the creative inkers are getting together tomorrow morning for a team meeting and swap. It's been a while since we all got together, so it will be good to catch up with the girls. This theme for this swap was children's cards which was great for me because that's all I have been making over the last few weeks. This is what I made for the swap.

Supplies

Stamp set: Garden Whimsey, so swirly Card/Ink: regal rose, so saffron, certainly celery

This swap I decided to go for nice and simple. I just love the so swirly wheel.

The next card I have to show today is super girly, very pink and pretty. It is a card my daughter would have loved when she was in her pink stage.

Supplies

Stamp set: eat cake, so swirly wheel card/ink: pretty in pink, chocolate chip, whisper white, accessories: pretty in pink ribbon, corner rounder punch

Show and Tell Thursday

Happy Friday. I am a bit late with my show and tell this week. We did crayon resist at Jacques this week for card class. This is a technique that I haven't played around with much so it was really great to have a play. We made two lovely cards using this technique. These are the cards that I made at class.

The blush card was taken from a card that we saw at convention, love the way we make the butterfly and the second card uses a great combination of colours, elegant eggplant, purely pomegrante and old olive. Here are two cards that I made last night using the same colour combination.

I usd different cardstock but I used a similar layout and I was pleased with how it turned out. It is such any easy technique but the results are really impressive.

stamps: bud basics, think happy thoughts, bodacious bouquet. Card/ink: glossy white, whisper white, always artichoke, purely pomegrate, so saffron, groovy guava Accessories: quill tape, scallop punch 1 1/4 ' circle punch, 13/8 circle punch, sponge daublers, versa mark, white crayon.

Thanks for stopping by
