My Colour Inspiration Challenge Entry

Here is my entry for my first colour inspiration challeng. I didn't think I was going to be able to post tonight as we were having trouble with the computer. I have been hassling my husband to get a second computer as there is always a queue to get on. Well you never know my birthday is later on in the year. I will cross my fingers. My entry is a simple little card I though would make a nice thank you card.

Supplies

Stamp sets: Fun & Fast notes, warm words

Card/ink: Brocade blue, gable green, groovy guava, staz on black

Access: Blender pens, hodgpodge hardware pewter, ribbon.

Thanks you Judy and Diane soo much for entering my first challeng. I will put up the poll tomorrow for voting. Next challenge I will allow more time. I hope you guys are thinking of what you would like to do for your challenge?

Yes I have changed the look of my blog again. Hopefully this will be the last change for awhile. Do you like the change?

Ribbon Club

I simply love Stampin ' Up! ribbon, I use them all the time. I think ribbon is a great accessory for any project to add that finishing touch. And of course the ribbons match our cardstock and ink colours taking away the guess work for you. This year we have even more choice in our wonderful range of ribbons.

Would you like to buy all of the ribbons without blowing your budget. Join my Ribbon Club.

How does it work? I need 8 people in each group. Once the group is full I will buy the ribbons, split up the spools and mail it to you. You can join as many of the groups as you like.

The faster the groups fill, the quicker the ribbon will be mailed out to you, so let your friends know.

You can see the full range of Stampin' Up! ribbons on page 146 of the Idea Book & Catalogue.

8 colours of Taffeta ribbon $16.75

8 colours of 5/8" Grosgrain ribbon $18.85

16 colours of 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon $27.20

6 colours of Double Stitched ribbon $15.70

6 colours of Gingham ribbon $12.60

4 colours of Striped Grosgrain ribbon $9.40

The amount of ribbon you will receive in each colour depends on spool length. For example Gingham will be 13.7m divided by 8 people, Taffeta will be 9.1m divided by 8 people.

Postage will be calculated after sign up (Maximum Postage will be $5.00 per person). Open only to New Zealand Residents.

Email or call me to sign up or if you have any questions.

I love the wild about you set, I think it is especially good for boys. I wasn't sure what colours to go with, so I took this combo straight off the colour wheel, I think it turned out quite well.

Challenge entry for NZSU Blog

Well it has been a busy week for me this week. Back to work after 2 1/2 weeks holiday. It has been a challenge to get myself and the kids away on time. I think we are all still a little bit on Australia time as both the kids and I have been waking up really late . But they have really enjoyed their time at the holiday program and I have survived my first week back at work, thank goodness I only work part time and boy am I looking forward to a wee sleep in tomorrow morning, so I haven't posted much this week. My first card is an entry in the May challenge for Trudi at NZSU Blog . The challenge is to create a project using new designer series paper. I have used the petals & paisley designer series paper, I also just received my scallop punch and photo corner punch so of course I had to try them out. I also have just learnt how to write text on my photos thanks to Trudi, she has instructions on her blog www.madebyme79.blogspot.com on how to add. Thanks so much for this Trudi, I have been trying to figure out how to do it, so your tutorial was very helpful.
