SFYTT July

Hi.  I can't believe it's the end of another month.  Just enough time to enter this month's SFYTT.   Nothing like leaving it till the last minute.  I have really enjoyed making cards for all of the sketch challenges this week, unfortunately I missed the deadline for a couple, so will have to be more organised next time.  I also gave myself a challenge this week.  To use SU kraft as the base for all of my cards, I have so much kraft card I needed to use it up.  Luckily kraft goes with everything, and I was really happy with how the cards turned out.  Here is my card for this months sketch.

I have used the adorable blooming good day stamp from MFT Stamps And this is the inside of the card.

R is for Riley challenge 1511 and Mojo Monday 201

Evening.  I received an exciting parcel in the mail this week.  My first order of Riley and Co stamps, of course I had to buy some more copic markers to colour Riley and  I had to try out my new stamps right away, just as well I have been on holiday this week.  This first card incorporates two challenges firstly the R is for Riley, to make a card with red, ribbon and rhinestones, I thought this weeks mojo monday challenge was ideal for this.  Here is a picture of the mojo Monday sketch.

Here is my card.

I have substituted the buttons for rhinestones and I have used twine, instead of ribbon,  I have also used my new water mark that my son designed for me.

Supplies: Stamps: Riley and Co, hero arts, ink: menento tuxedo black, su card, pattern paper, accessories: copic markers, su markers, su twine, diamantes.

Thanks for stopping by.

Blog makeover no 2

I recently madeover my blog for a new start, but over the past few weeks I have decided that it was just not me.  So I asked my son to help me come up with a new blog header and side bars for my blog.   I told himeI wanted to keep it simple and clean cut and keep to blue and brown.  This is the new look he came up  with for me, he even designed a new watermark for me.   I am really happy with the new look, much more my style, nice and simple.  Thanks so much James.

Hi.  Another weekend over and two more weeks until school holidays.  Yay and two weeks off work.  I can't wait.  The kids and I are looking forward to sleeping in and chilling out,  we have a list of movies we want to see, and  friends to catch up with so should be good.  Also  a good time to spend in the craft room and catch up on some scrapbooking.  I was looking at my stamp collection and pulled out a couple of old favourites from penny black.  I just love the penny black hedgehogs and thought it was time to use them again.  I made two cards using the same design and papers, I am into square cards at the moment, and also flowers.

I have stamped this image using memento tuxedo black, and coloured with tombow markers, I have used coluzzle circle cutters, and have layered onto patterned papers, have added flowers from and stampin up and used diamantes and pearls.  The next card is very similar, I have used different penny black stamp and brads and prima flowers mixed with stampin up.

Supplies:  Stamps: Penny black, Card: stampin'up, bazzill basics, pattern paper, ink:memento tuxedo black, accessories: tombow markers, coluzzle circle cutters, brads, pearls, prima flowers, stampinup flowers, pearls, diamantes.
